We believe circularity is the answer.
We refuse to settle for a world that pits economic success against social good. With circularity those tradeoffs simply don’t exist. And with that out of the way, enabling cloud access and all of the financial and societal benefits it unlocks becomes a fundamental human right. The key is exchanging the linear paradigms by which we used to make decisions and measure success to ones that comprehend and place a premium on the aggregate impact of our actions beyond our own walls. When we do that, in collaboration with our communities, ecosystems and partners, we’re capable of cascading utility to data deserts, building time machines that let hardware travel through multiple loops of incredibly productive life and making truly sustainable practices that reverse todays waste and emission trajectory the default for all technology companies.
It starts with acknowledging that the current model for IT hardware deployment and lifecycle management is broken. Heavier workloads and new applications, such as AI/ML and edge computing, have driven data and infrastructure demands to an all-time high, and these will continue to grow unchecked. The pace of technology innovation combined with mandates for greater efficiency have accelerated hardware refresh cycles, yet too many companies still take an outdated use and dispose approach which no longer makes sense from an economic or sustainability perspective. Traditional utilization models and cost structures favor the largest players, constraining new sectors, global growth and broader IT market opportunities.
Circularity is the answer to all of this. Achieving unprecedented financial success and having a positive impact on our environment and society is not only imperative, it is possible right now. It is why every day we get up every day, to be the bridge between talking about 100% circular and making it a global reality.
